In 2015, the Bell Helicopter Company offered a new version of the light multi-purpose helicopter Bell 407GX. The new Bell 407GXP has significant advantages over its predecessor and comparable helicopters.

In addition, the Bell 407GXP has improved avionics features including a hover performance calculator. The time between overhauls is extended by 500 hours, thus resulting in lower operating costs.
